I have decided I want to document my clothing daily for the rest of the year. So, as part of that, here is the second installment 'What I Wore'.

What I Wore: January 25, 2012
So, I have decided after seeing numerous blogs display their daily outfits that I should do the same. I think there is a small part of everyone that wants to know more about other people. I know that I enjoy seeing the interesting things that other people wear and carry with them every day, so I though you might like to know a little more about what i am wearing and carrying.
Enjoy!

Vampire Wekend - Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa (Teenagers Remix)
I am almost certain that this song got me through my freshman year of college. This remix, specifically. Enjoy! I wish I could have a Cape Cod vacation right about now.
Thrifting Inspiration of the Day
I am constantly saying that I need to thrift more. I have been thrifting several times but it is impossible to find anything for a five foot, six inch tall man that isn't a FUBU T-shirt. While browsing my daily blog crushes this morning I found this image over at The Midwestyle. I was immediately very jealous of Cameron's find. Not only did he find a classic navy blazer, he found this American-made masterpiece for only $4.50... It would be easy to make the assumption that all of his thrifting trips must be much more fruitful than mine. For an additional $45, Cameron had the blazer altered from it's large waist measurement to this very modern slim cut, in my opinion a great deal. I also love the WWII-era Russian watch he is wearing and found on Etsy. It is easy to say that I love this look. IF you want to find more looks like these (and I promise you, you do) head over to The Midwestyle to browse more inspiring images and outifits from the great American Midwest.

My Pinterest!
Ok, as I mentioned last time, I have a Pinterest problem. I think that it is an acceptable problem, because of the inspiration I get from pinning for my style section in FOLK. However, I may get a little excessive at time.
In any case, I wanted to give everyone a little peak at my favorite board on Pinterest, 'My Style'.
So, here's a link. I hope you enjoy.

My First Post
Hey Everyone,
I hope that this blog finds you well and that you'll be happy to hear a little about me and this blog. I am writing my first post while most people my age are in class, but I am taking the semester off to figure out what i want to do with my life.
My name is Heath Stiltner, and until about 11 months ago I am sure hardly anyone knew who I was. I was just another 20-year-old college junior attending a prestigious independent school in the south. Flash forward a couple months and my best friend Ben Ashby and I started a new American Lifestyle magazine called FOLK Magazine. It was to be a fun summer project but when our facebook numbers grew from 2 to 2,500 in less than a week we knew it was something we had to jump into headfirst.
A few months later and one year older and I am writing, traveling, photographing, and setting up a shop for the magazine. I am currently the Fashion Director of the magazine and I spend all of the free time that I rarely get reading fashion blogs and boring Pinterest users with my interests.
Until recently I had no idea what I wanted to do. My hiatus from school and a major in Art History had me baffled as to what would lie ahead of me after my college career came to a close. The only option I saw for myself was to make my own future, so that's why I am here writing this blog.
I am an aspiring fashion blogger and fashion creator. I have spent years sketching, planning, and dreaming up a concept that I could bring to the American audience and I am finally putting that dream into action. In this blog I will document my daily life, the life of a magazine contributor and aspiring designer.
Buckle up, here we go!
